Easter ~ Macaroon Bird Nests


Comment: I knew I had to try making these cookies after stumbling across a picture of them online. The presentation is so cute! I am a big fan of chewy macaroon cookies with chocolate anyway. I am amazed at how easy they are to make.  I filled the bird nests with Reese’s Pieces candy eggs.

Note – I used 1 1/2 Tbsp per cookie and backed them for 10 minutes. I accidentally used sweetened condensed milk instead of regular condensed milk. I still thought they turned out great, but my husband, who is not as big of a sweet tooth as me, thought they were too sweet. Next time I will try making them with regular condensed milk.
