Rocky Road


Comment – This rocky road recipe comes from my Mom. She makes these bars every year around Christmas. I like anything chocolate, but the sweet and salty (peanuts) combination in this recipe is particularly good.

1-14 oz. can Eagle brand-sweetened condensed milk
1 cup salted peanuts
2 Tbsp butter
1-10 oz bag mini marshmallows

Melt Chocolate chips over medium heat with condensed milk in sauce pan with 2 Tbsp butter. Cool a few minutes add mini marshmallow & peanuts (the marshmallows could melt if you don’t wait for the mixture to cool down enough). Mix well. Pour into buttered 13″x9″ pan. Chill in fridge for 2 hrs. Cut into squares.
